Cookie Policy
This page explains exactly which cookies and similar technologies SAX Investments Ltd uses on this website, what each one is for, and how you can accept or refuse them. Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is stored on your device unless you tell us it may be.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognise your device on a later page or visit. Related technologies — local storage, pixels, and similar device identifiers — work differently but raise the same questions, so we treat them all the same way in this policy.
Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR we may only store or read non-essential information on your device with your prior consent. That consent must be freely given, specific, and as easy to withdraw as it was to give — which is why refusing is a single click, and why the preferences panel can be reopened from the footer of every page.
The categories we use
Strictly necessaryAlways on
Needed for the site to work: serving pages securely, remembering your cookie choice, and protecting the contact form against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
Functional
Enable optional conveniences such as the embedded Google map on our contact section. Turning this off simply replaces the map with a plain link.
Analytics
Help us understand which pages are read and where visitors come from, in aggregate, so we can improve the site. Never used to identify you personally.
Marketing
Would allow advertising or campaign-measurement cookies to be set by third parties. We do not run any today — this stays off unless you allow it.
We currently run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all. The marketing category exists so that, if that ever changes, nothing is set before you have been asked.
Cookies in use on this site
sax_cookie_consentStrictly necessaryStores the cookie choices you made in the preferences panel, so we do not ask again on every page and only load what you allowed.
nf_abStrictly necessarySet by our hosting platform to keep a visitor on a consistent version of the site when a split test or branch deploy is running.
__nf_form / session identifiersStrictly necessaryUsed transiently when you submit the contact form, to route the submission and to filter spam.
NID, CONSENT, SOCS and similarFunctional — consent requiredSet by Google only if you enable functional cookies and the embedded map on our contact section loads. They store map preferences and are used by Google for security and its own purposes.
Names set by third parties can change without notice — the list above describes the purpose and the provider, which is the part that matters. Our own hosting provider also keeps short-lived server logs containing your IP address for security; those are described in the Privacy Notice rather than here, because they are not stored on your device.
Changing your mind
Your choice is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it whenever you like:
- 01Open the and adjust any category, or reject everything non-essential in one click.
- 02Delete the cookies already stored using your browser settings. Removing our consent cookie makes the banner appear again on your next visit.
- 03Block or restrict cookies globally in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies are minimal, but blocking everything may stop the contact form from submitting correctly.
